CES 2026: Cool Tech Finds for the Home

By Melissa Dittmann Tracey

The tech industry’s annual mega-event never fails in showing off the latest innovations—and CES 2026 delivered in a big way. From hyper-connected smart homes and AI-powered everything to a robot butler straight out of my dreams, thousands of companies unveiled their latest innovations during CES, held Jan. 6–9 in Las Vegas.

Here are a few of my favorite home-related tech finds from CES 2026.

Your Personal Robot Butler

Who wouldn’t want a robot handling the household chores? Meet LG’s CLOiD, a multitasking home robot that can fold laundry, load the dishwasher, organize the fridge and more. CLOiD learns household routines and adapts over time—bringing us one step closer to truly hands-free home management.

 TV as Architecture

Bigger screens always dominate CES, and Samsung raised the bar yet again with its 130-inch Micro RGB TV. Suddenly, my 75-inch feels tiny! Samsung describes the display as a “grand architectural window”—and honestly, it does feel less like a TV and more like a design statement … not to mention, a portal into my Netflix-binging soul.

Pet Spy

I refuse to believe my dogs simply sit and mope when I leave the house. Traditional pet cameras are stationary—but pets aren’t. Enter Vex the Robot, an AI-powered companion that follows your pet around the home. If we can track our kids with apps, why not our pets? Don’t judge—you know you’re curious too!

 Your Brain Assistant

Here’s to one step closer to microchipping our brains! SwitchBot’s AI MindClip, unveiled at CES 2026, is a wearable device that records and transcribes everything you say. AI then summarizes conversations and generates reminders automatically. It supports more than 100 languages and might finally prove you were RIGHT … even when you forgot why.

The Stylist Who Lives in Your Closet

A personal stylist—minus the judgment. Eoneoms’ HEYMIRROR is an AI-powered smart dressing mirror that offers outfit recommendations based on the weather, your calendar and the occasion. Your closet just got a serious upgrade.

 Robo-Appeal

We have robot vacuums—so why not robot lawn care? Mammotion’s LUBA 3 AWD robot mower features what’s touted as the world’s first Tri-Fusion Navigation System, all-wheel drive and AI-powered obstacle avoidance. With four motors and a 15.8-inch cutting width, it can maintain lawns up to 1.75 acres across varied terrain. Low-effort curb appeal meets high-tech convenience. Go ahead, soak in that jealousy coming from your neighbors!

 Home Scan for Entry

Keys are officially optional, which is good because the younger generation doesn’t even know how to use one. Ultraloq’s Bolt Sense brings facial recognition and palm vein scanning to home entry—offering fully touch-free access, even in total darkness. Smart locks are pushing convenience and security to the next level.

A Shower for Your Skin

Ceragem’s AI Rejuvenation Shower System turns daily showers into personalized skincare treatments. Using contactless sensors and a smart mirror, the system analyzes skin hydration, oil levels and pigmentation—then adjusts water chemistry and dispenses tailored skincare ingredients to support healthier skin.

That Makes Scents

Deepscent AI adds a new sensory layer to smart homes by creating custom scents based on mood, music, visuals and environmental context. Trained on more than 100,000 fragrance data points, the system blends aromas for different rooms and moments. It connects with smart home platforms to personalize your scented atmosphere, offering a pleasant, custom smell for your home.

Home Transformer

An Innovation Award winner, the AI Transformer Home Trailer reimagines mobile living. Its 24-foot design expands from 190 to 400 square feet at the push of a button. The concept highlights growing opportunities in tech-enabled, mobile and off-grid housing.

Free Up Space in Your Laundry Room

Washer-dryer combo units aren’t a new idea—but LG’s Signature ventless washer-dryer may finally make them more practical. The machine can complete a full 10-pound load—wash AND dry—in about 90 minutes. That rivals the performance of separate appliances, and you’ve now freed up valuable floor space in your laundry room.

A Home That’s Fire-Protected

If it works as promised, this could be a game changer. Sonic Fire Tech introduces a waterless wildfire defense system that uses low-frequency acoustic waves to neutralize airborne embers before they ignite. Developed by a former NASA engineer, the system targets the leading cause of wildfire-related home loss.
